ABOUT OUR STREET DEPARTMENT

The City of Hubbard Street Department is primarily responsible for maintaining the 36 miles of road within the community. However, the service provided by the Street Department extends significantly beyond road maintenance.

Paul D. Collins, Superintendent of Streets, supervises the seven-member Street Department crew. These individuals provide snow removal, leaf pickup, street repair and maintenance, and street cleaning throughout the year. Additionally, the Street Department maintains an equipment inventory of six dump trucks, two leaf-loading machines, a tractor for cutting brush, and a backhoe.

In addition to the department's equipment inventory, the Street Department also employs the city mechanic and engineer's assistant.
